Following years of recruiting in London, I moved to San Francisco in 2015. I quickly noticed a shift in the technology landscape and a gap in the market. That gap was the Cloud domain, specifically; DevOps, SRE, Platform Engineering and DevSecOps.

I founded Harrison Clarke in January 2017 with the vision to build the only Cloud recruiting firm across the United States. We did exactly that and found an opportunity to expand into a second domain of expertise: Data & AI in 2021. In January 2022, we launched our corporate venture capital arm of the business, Harrison Clarke Ventures.

Our promise to the market is to provide excellent customer service, excellent quality and attention to detail, and, finally, unconditional care and attention to each one of our clients, candidates, and everyone that works at Harrison Clarke, today and for years to come.

I've spent the better part of two decades building and scaling the infrastructure behind high-growth technology companies. It began at Mozilla, where I joined as the first Network Engineer and went on to lead IT and Operations as we grew Firefox from 40 million to nearly 500 million users. From there I carried that same obsession with reliability and scale through Apple, VMware, Lacework, and a series of fast-moving cloud and security companies, scaling teams from a handful of engineers to twenty-plus, cutting cloud costs dramatically, and keeping mission-critical systems online when failure simply wasn't an option. Along the way I co-authored Scaling Cloud FinOps (Apress, 2024), out of a conviction that cost belongs alongside uptime and performance as a first-class engineering concern.

I joined Harrison Clarke as CTO to build, turning the domains I've spent my career inside (Cloud, DevOps, SRE, Platform Engineering, DevSecOps, and now Data & AI) into AI-enabled tooling that changes how the work actually gets done. My role is to bring that operator's perspective to how Harrison Clarke works: sharpening how we identify and evaluate talent, and building the technology and data foundation that lets us do it faster, more precisely, and at greater scale than anyone else in the market. That builder's mandate doesn't stop at any one company; it extends to wherever there's an opportunity to apply AI to hard, practical problems.

My guiding philosophy is what I call #BeachOps: build systems and teams so well that they can run without you standing over them. Great operations isn't about being busy; it's about designing for lazy, empowering people, and letting the computers handle the rest. That's the mindset I'm bringing to everything I build: reliability by design, technology as a genuine force multiplier, and the kind of operational excellence that frees everyone else to focus on what they do best.

With a background in Psychology and a strong passion for people, I was naturally drawn to the Recruitment industry. Over the past seven years, I’ve developed a comprehensive understanding of the field from multiple angles. I began my career in a corporate recruitment environment, where I built a solid foundation, before transitioning to a PE-backed recruitment startup. Joining during its early growth phase, I played a pivotal role in scaling the business and driving its success.

Today, I'm part of Harrison Clarke, where we’re on a distinctive mission to unite the worlds of Search and Venture —redefining how companies are built and scaled. My vision here is to grow our team at all levels and continue delivering exceptional client outcomes through our innovative approach.

I bring over eight years of experience in recruitment, specialising in the Software and Engineering landscape across Europe. Most recently, I’ve spent the past year focused on the data centre sector within construction, building a deeper understanding of critical infrastructure and emerging technologies.

Having lived in Amsterdam for five years, I’ve worked closely with a range of organisations, from high-growth scale-ups to globally established businesses, supporting their growth through tailored contract resourcing solutions.

I’m passionate about building strong, long-term relationships and delivering real value to the clients I work with. My approach is centred around partnership, taking the time to truly understand each business, offering market insight and advisory support, and helping teams scale in a way that is both effective and sustainable.

I’m excited to be part of the next phase of growth across data centres, AI infrastructure and cloud in the US, and to contribute to building Harrison Clarke into a market-leading VC and executive search firm.

Having been with Harrison Clarke since its inception, I have played an integral role in the firm’s growth from an early-stage startup to a business with offices in London, New York, San Francisco, and Los Angeles. During this time, I have seen the company evolve from a recruitment-focused organization into a search and venture firm.

Throughout my career at Harrison Clarke, I have worked across multiple facets of the business, from supporting brand development and messaging to onboarding our earliest clients. I have also partnered closely with our research function, contributing to the mapping, identification, and sourcing of exceptional engineering talent.

In my current role, I support the commercial team in delivering a high-quality service to our client portfolio, while also collaborating with our marketing partners to promote Inside the Silicon Mind, our podcast dedicated to leading conversations with CEOs, founders, and investors.

Since launching my career in tech recruitment in 2022, I’ve been passionate about empowering startups and scale-ups to build high-caliber engineering teams that drive groundbreaking innovation in healthcare technology. My focus has been on fostering talent that creates disruptive, impactful products that transform lives.

A transformative six-month global journey and a meaningful stint in the charity sector broadened my perspective, reinforcing my dedication to purpose-driven work. Now, I’m back to my core passion: assembling exceptional engineering teams that pioneer change through cutting-edge technology. With a blend of global insights and a relentless commitment to excellence, I’m driven to deliver solutions that make a lasting impact.

After beginning my career in tech recruitment, I have been driven by a passion for partnering with innovative startups and scale-ups to build exceptional engineering and data teams from the ground up. In previous roles, I have had the privilege of supporting leading U.S. HealthTech companies developing groundbreaking healthcare technologies, ensuring they attract and retain the talent required to deliver truly transformative products. I am now broadening my scope to collaborate with organisations across the wider technology industry.

My mission is clear, to connect outstanding talent with ambitious companies, enabling the creation of technologies that drive meaningful, lasting impact!

I’ve spent the past four years consulting businesses in the Central European markets on contract solutions. During this period, I nurtured client and candidate relationships within software and engineering landscapes.

I believe the most successful outcomes are built on strong partnerships. By developing a thorough understanding of each organisation, I provide market intelligence, strategic advice, and tailored solutions that enable teams to scale efficiently while supporting long-term growth.

I’ve joined the Harrison Clarke project because I strongly believe they offer a product and service that is not found anywhere else on the market. I’m keen to leverage the expertise I’ve developed to accelerate Harrison Clarke’s next stage of growth in VC and work force solutions.

Partnering exclusively with start ups and scale ups since 2023 has given me exposure across a range of remits, including Software Engineering, Data Science and AI, as well as building commercial and forward-deployed engineering teams.

After seeing the setup first-hand, both the training and the calibre of VC-backed clients and candidates Harrison Clarke works with, there was little hesitation in joining the team and helping founders access typically hard-to-reach talent in the Data and AI space.

I'm British-Swiss and grew up across Europe. I studied political philosophy, focusing on how powerful technologies reshape societies, institutions and the distribution of power. As AI moves towards more general and capable systems, that question feels more urgent than ever.
I began my career in search, specialising in automation engineering. For the past four years, I've partnered with industrial and engineering businesses to build their automation teams and support the delivery of critical projects.

I joined Harrison Clarke to bring that experience in business development, talent acquisition and relationship building to the markets defining the future of technology. With Silicon Valley at the centre of so much of this work, I'm excited to partner with the people and companies building the next generation of AI.

With over four years of experience in Machine Learning recruitment, both at an early-stage startup and in-house at an innovative ClimateTech company, I bring a strong foundation in identifying and engaging top-tier technical talent.

Now at Harrison Clarke, my focus has expanded to cover the broader technology landscape. My ongoing mission is to connect visionary companies building transformative technologies with the exceptional talent that drives them forward.

Over the last 2 years I have worked closely with scale ups and established tech companies to source and secure high-impact engineers who build and maintain performance-critical systems. This included low-level firmware and hardware development to complex, high-efficiency C++ systems that power real-world products.

Working in a niche market has required more than surface-level CV matching – I have intentionally spent time building practical knowledge to better understand challenges candidates and clients face and in doing so have been able to build long-standing relationships.

Moving into the start-up ecosystem, my mission remains the same:
Connecting outstanding talent to ambitious and growing companies.

Since starting my career in tech recruitment in 2020, my mission has always remained the same. I am passionate about supporting clients and matching exceptional talent with the right opportunities.

I have worked closely with scale-ups and established tech companies, supporting their hiring in the Software Engineering and Data and AI space.

Currently, I am focused on partnering with US start-ups to help build world-class engineering teams and I look forward to continuing to build new and meaningful relationships.

Having spent the past 4 years delivering across client mandates in the UK, Europe and the US, I have been driven by a singular mindset of delivering outstanding talent with a consultative approach.

This is a mindset that is ingrained at Harrison Clarke and the vision they have in the search and venture space is wholly unique. Delivering successful outcomes and fostering a collaborative approach that is embedded in everything they do.

I look forward to helping our clients grow and having a long lasting impact in supporting businesses in their journeys.

Over the past three years, I've partnered with technology leaders to build high-performing teams across the Financial Services sector. During this time, I've worked closely with both Fortune 100 organisations and high-growth startups, helping them identify and secure the leadership talent needed to drive innovation and long-term success.

I'm passionate about building lasting relationships with both clients and candidates, taking a consultative approach to understand their goals and deliver talent solutions that create a meaningful impact. I believe successful partnerships are built on trust, transparency, and a genuine understanding of each organisation's unique challenges and ambitions.

My aim is to connect exceptional people with ambitious businesses, helping them build teams that drive innovation and long-term success.

After graduating with a degree in Business Management, I began my career in recruitment, where I now specialise in supporting engineering and technical markets. Since entering the industry, I have worked closely with clients and professionals within sectors such as power, transmission and distribution, nuclear energy, data centre construction, industrial automation and robotics.

What I enjoy most about recruitment is the opportunity to connect talented individuals with projects that have a genuine impact. Whether supporting large-scale infrastructure developments or helping businesses secure niche technical expertise, I take pride in delivering a service that is both responsive and relationship-driven.

Over the past year, I have developed a strong interest in the critical infrastructure space, particularly the rapid growth of data centres and the role they play in supporting the future of digital technology. This has allowed me to build valuable market knowledge while working alongside organisations delivering some of Europe’s most important engineering projects.

I am excited to be part of the Client Solutions team at Harrison Clarke and look forward to applying the foundation I have built early in my career to deliver successful outcomes for our customers. I believe successful recruitment is built on trust, consistency, and a deep understanding of the people and businesses involved. By focusing on long-term relationships and clear communication, I aim to create positive outcomes for both clients and candidates alike.
